WINGEDFANFICS ETIQUETTE

We trust our writers and therefore do not filter each and every fanfiction posted on Wingedfanfics. This does not mean writers are not responsible for what they submit and must therefore be aware of essential etiquette that should be observed:

1. Make it a habit to spell check all submitted works. There are things such as word processors, dictionaries, search engines for this usage.

2. Quality check all submitted works. We do not expect always perfect works but it beats of being ridiculed for obvious no-effort proofreading.

3. Respect reviewers. You need to expect you cannot please everyone . For whatever kind of negative criticism you receive, take it as a compliment and good deed for the reviewer taking interest in wanting to improve your work.

4. Everyone aspires to be a good writer. So respect each and everyone and lend a helping hand when asked. No man is an island and we consider ourselves a family in this community.

5. Use proper textual formatting. Meaning, no fanfictions with all CAPS LOCK text, Capital letters only on start of a sentence, summary or content, etc. Have some respect on the language. It is after all, the channel of your writing creativity.

 

WINGEDFANFICS RULES AND REGULATIONS

Here are essential things to remember as a ‘registered’ user of WingedFanfics.

Not allowed entries:
1. One or two liners
2. Comments inserted in between the flow of a copied story,
3. Any form of interactive entry: choose your adventure, second person/you based, Q&As, and etc.
4. Chat Script format and dialogue based entries
5. Non stories such as bloopers, polls, previews, author notes, etc.

Actions not allowed:
1. One entry, one material. No multiple submissions of one material. No exceptions.
2. DO NOT rewrite names or characters / locations of the same story to upload in different categories. A BIG NO NO.
3. Plagiarism NOT ALLOWED.

General Rules
1. Entry title and summary must be rated G for all audience.
2. Entry must have proper rating. No exceptions.
3. Entry must be in proper category. No exceptions.
4. Respect each other. This applies to both writers and / or reviewers.
5. Do not use this site to promote any kind of racism, hate, porn, spam, etc.
6. Images, Videos and other media files can be posted together with your fanfiction but these files MUST COME FROM AN EXTERNAL SOURCE (e.g. photobucket, divshare, youtube, etc.) We cannot be a storage space for these big (if not gigantic) sized files.

For Social Networking Feature
1. Please use WingedFanfics’ social networking feature as a place to socialize, communicate and have fun. Please do not use this area as a place to promote, hate, racial discrimination, pornography, etc.

FANFICTION POSTING RULES (For New and Already Registered Users)

In posting your fanfiction, after logging in and accessing the WordPress dashboard, from the left sidebar, go to Posts >> Add New. From here, it is IMPERATIVE you provide the following information:

1. Your Title (required)

2. Your Content (required)

3. Your Content’s Excerpt (requiredThis is very important as this will be your fanfiction’s summary, which will come out in WingedFanfiction’s homepage once you click on Publish. When a user clicks on the title, that is when they will access your actual fanfiction. )

4. Post Tags (optional)

5. Categories (required) . You MUST check/tick on three (2) categories. These are Anime/Manga Titles and Ratings.

It will be necessary to check/tick more than (2) categories if your fanfiction consists of crossovers from various titles.

Category ‘Site Updates’ is for the site admin and mods.

If your category (series) is missing from the category list, please use our Contact Form to request for your title and we’ll add it to the category list ASAP.

6. As indicated in our Rules page, ”
